Question by angela: about liposuction and recovery?
okay, here’s the thing. i’m chinese, and chinese girls are famous for being tiny. i’m 5’5″, 120 lb, and when i’m in china or with chinese friends here they’d always hint at me that i need to lose some weight. sometimes they are downright rude. the thing is, i exercise and eat healthy and everything, but i sitll have bumps here and there. i’m just sick of being made fun of, so now i am seriously considering doing liposuction. can you guys share your experiences? do you recover well afterwards? and most importantly, are you happy that you did it?

Just an FYI, you can also look up the procedure online (esp for whatever body part you want done) and some sites will have message boards where people post about their experiences. You can learn about the procedure, recovery time, scarring, possible hazards, etc.
If you’ve got extra fat, concentrate on your cardio exercise and in addition, work on toning exercises for those areas. Leave lipo as a last resort. I’m not against surgery but it’s expensive and painful so if you can get the results naturally, that’s the preferred option.
Also…do it for YOU, not because of what others say. If you alter your body for other people, you’ll never be happy with yourself.
