Does Liposuction Leave Your Skin Saggy?

Question by Mason K: Does liposuction leave your skin saggy?
I’ve been wondering, after having lost twenty pounds, that the maybe the reason it takes so long is because the skin needs time to adjust. Thus I am wondering if having fat sucked out would leave the excess skin uncontracted.

It can do, depending on the amount removed
If your fat pockets are large or you are older, the likelihood that you will have loose skin with aggressive liposuction is greater.

If you are looking to get rid of excess skin, a liposuction is not the right procedure for you. Liposuction will remove excess fat but not help with sagging skin. A tummy tuck would help with the excess skin issues you may be experiencing.
